Thanks to Sis. Olga Manns of The Community Services Department and the Bethel Church for partnering with and hosting the Filomeno Family Awards Foundation's annual program. This community organization provides support, school supplies, and financial scholarships to deserving students in our community.

Adventist Community Services (ACS) is the official community outreach ministry of the Adventist church in North American Division territories which comprises North America, Guam and Micronesia, and Bermuda. ACS serves the whole person, a concept known as holistic ministry whose mission is to “serve the community in Christ’s name”.

ACS currently provides services such as disaster response, spiritual and emotional crisis care, community development, urban & inner-city ministries, elder care ministry, youth and young adults empowered to serve, Hope for Humanity, tutoring, and mentoring programs, and much more.

On September 22, 2020, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams honors Bethel's, Own Sis. Olga Manns and 86 other people he calls 'COVID Everyday Heroes'
